Technical Support Specialist

Department: New Product Development / Technical

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Our client is a leading UK supplier of Window & Door Hardware and ancillary products.

Responsibilities

  • Front-line technical support for customers
  • Front-line technical support for internal & external sales teams
  • Maintain our library of profile related documentation
  • Support the technical team relating to the product training programme for the business
  • Support colleagues with key procedures relating to our test equipment
  • Assist in the New Product Development processes as required
  • Support colleagues in the Quality Control procedures as required
  • Support colleagues in producing greenteQ technical documentation

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of fenestration hardware solutions within the PVCu, Aluminium and timber sectors of the market
  • A problem solver
  • Customer relations experience
  • Experience with CAD software packages would be a benefit, but not essential
  • Experience with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems and advantage
  • Full clean driving licence
