Technical Support Specialist
Department: New Product Development / Technical
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Our client is a leading UK supplier of Window & Door Hardware and ancillary products.
Responsibilities
- Front-line technical support for customers
- Front-line technical support for internal & external sales teams
- Maintain our library of profile related documentation
- Support the technical team relating to the product training programme for the business
- Support colleagues with key procedures relating to our test equipment
- Assist in the New Product Development processes as required
- Support colleagues in the Quality Control procedures as required
- Support colleagues in producing greenteQ technical documentation
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of fenestration hardware solutions within the PVCu, Aluminium and timber sectors of the market
- A problem solver
- Customer relations experience
- Experience with CAD software packages would be a benefit, but not essential
- Experience with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM systems and advantage
- Full clean driving licence
