Head of Sales / Regional Sales Manager - UK & Ireland

We are working with a market‑leading manufacturer specialising in innovative solutions designed for healthcare and custodial environments. With strong global growth across EMEA, North America, and Asia‑Pacific, the business is continuing to invest in its UK sales function and is now seeking a senior sales leader to drive performance and expansion across the UK & Ireland.
The Role
This is a hands‑on leadership position, responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of Project Consultants to deliver revenue growth, strengthen strategic relationships, and build a high‑performing sales culture. You will play a key role in shaping regional strategy while remaining close to the field—coaching, supporting, and driving performance across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals
- Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear targets and development plans
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
- Spend time in the field supporting customer engagement and deal progression
- Provide live coaching on sales approach, negotiation, and closing strategies
- Identify capability gaps and implement development plans
- Deliver regional revenue and growth targets
- Monitor pipeline, activity levels, and conversion performance
- Ensure strong CRM discipline and accurate forecasting
- Analyse trends and implement corrective actions
- Lead growth across key strategic and enterprise accounts
- Build senior‑level relationships with customers
- Support team members in identifying and developing opportunities
- Oversee high‑value and complex sales opportunities
- Lead commercial strategy, negotiations, and presentations
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to secure successful outcomes
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy
- Lead planning sessions and quarterly business reviews
- Maintain strong market awareness and competitor insight
