SFR Recruitment Solutions are working on an exclusive retained assignment to recruit a Project Consultant for a growing, specialist manufacturer within the healthcare and construction sector.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at the forefront of specialist product innovation, working closely with NHS Trusts, architects, and contractors to support projects from initial concept through to completion. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring solutions are specified correctly and delivered to meet both clinical and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with NHS estates teams, architects, contractors and project managers
- Provide technical and product guidance to support specification and design decisions
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to specification and delivery
- Produce accurate, compliant specifications in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities via CRM systems
- Attend site visits, offering technical support to keep projects on track
- Ensure consistent follow-up and progression through the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in specification sales, project consultancy or technical sales
- Background in construction, building products, or healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of the specification process and project lifecycle
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across complex projects
- Commercial awareness with a proactive, consultative approach
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and travel across your region
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of healthcare or mental health design environments
- Understanding of specialist safety-led solutions
- CSCS and/or SMSTS certification
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
