Role Definition:
Primary Function: To lead the establishment, growth, and successful operation of an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) in the UK, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines, achieving SRA accreditation, and overseeing the strategic operations of the organisation to deliver its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the ABS, ensuring alignment with business objectives and SRA guidelines. Provide strong leadership and direction to drive the growth, sustainability, and success of the ABS.
- SRA Accreditation: Oversee and manage the entire accreditation process, including documentation, policy implementation, and regulatory adherence.
- CICA Claims Management: Provide strategic leadership and management for the CICA legal team, ensuring comprehensive oversight of all aspects of CICA claims handling, including case evaluation, claim preparation, and client representation.
- Legal Expertise: Manage and oversee legal practice operations, ensuring strict adherence to professional standards and a commitment to client-focused service delivery. Offer legal advice and guidance on a broad spectrum of legal matters pertinent to the organisation.
- Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of legal professionals.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- Currently registered on the Roll of Solicitors under SRA.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas of law, such as personal injury or criminal injury.
- Proven experience in managing CICA claims within a legal setting.
- Proven experience in managing legal teams and overseeing legal departments.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of UK law, particularly in areas relevant to the ABS (e.g., professional indemnity, employment law, and CICA claims).
