The Will Writer will take ownership of the firm's will writing and associated private client services. The role will focus on delivering high-quality client advice, managing files independently, and developing this area of the business in collaboration with the Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).

However, significant practical experience and technical knowledge are essential, as the role requires the ability to manage matters competently and independently with minimal supervision. The role involves working closely with the Independent Financial Advisers, Directors, administrative support team and, where appropriate, external professional advisers.

  • Advising on estate planning and care fees planning
  • Inheritance tax planning in collaboration with IFAs
  • Identifying cases requiring specialist legal referral where necessary
  • Using internal systems and case management software appropriately
  • Identifying planning opportunities arising from financial reviews
  • Building long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Contributing to the growth and visibility of the private client offering
