Currently, we are looking for an IT Manager to take ownership of the local IT function in our UK office. The role combines day-to-day technical support, IT asset and vendor management, and coordination of infrastructure-related initiatives to ensure a seamless experience for employees. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, driving improvements, and making a direct impact on business operations.
Position Responsibilities:- Ensuring uninterrupted operation of office equipment (PCs, users' laptops (Windows 11, MacOS), peripheral devices, meeting rooms, office hardware) and employee software.
- Conducting onboarding and offboarding. Preparation/replacement of equipment, setting up workplaces.
- Processing requests in ServiceDesk and resolving incidents.
- Maintaining IT asset inventory, updating configurations, and ensuring the availability of backup equipment.
- Planning and coordinating technical maintenance, updates, and local projects.
- Interacting with service centers, internet service providers (ISPs), suppliers, and contractors.
- Budgeting, procurement planning, and supplier management.
- Participating in the implementation of corporate IT standards and policies.
- Aligning and coordinating technical solutions and processes.
- Practical experience in IT support / system administration (3+ years).
- Knowledge of network infrastructure fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience working with ServiceDesk systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Skills in maintaining office hardware (laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, video conferencing systems).
- Basic skills in budgeting, procurement planning, and supplier relations.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Good communication skills, responsibility, and systemic thinking.
