Join our Quality & Standards Committee (QSC) as a volunteer member.
About the Role
SFJ Awards is seeking sector‑experienced professionals to join our QSC. As an awarding organisation supporting critical public safety and protection sectors, we are committed to ensuring that our qualifications are high‑quality, credible, and trusted. The QSC plays a vital governance role, providing independent oversight of our qualification, assessment and certification processes, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements across the UK.
Who We’re Looking For
- Assessment, accreditation, and/or awarding organisation quality assurance experience
- Fire and rescue experience
- Policing, probation, or offender management experience
- Security experience, including SIA‑regulated provision
Responsibilities
- Attend quarterly virtual committee meetings
- Participate in occasional additional meetings or reviews where required
- Pre‑read papers and evidence supplied in advance
Appointment Terms
Three‑year term (renewal once).
