About the role Become a driving force in our mission to revolutionise building maintenance! As a Software Developer at SFG20, you'll design, develop, and enhance cutting-edge software solutions that empower our clients to create safer, more sustainable built environments. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative and agile team, working closely with Product Owners to bring exciting new features to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will take ownership of your projects, from selecting tickets and estimating complexity to writing clean, efficient code and participating in code reviews.
  • Developing features for our systems.
  • Estimating the complexity of tickets and tasks.
  • Delivering the required software development tasks.
  • Striving for quality in your work product.
  • Ensuring user stories are properly refined and groomed.
  • Having influence over implementation choices.

Essential experience

  • JavaScript and Node.js proficiency
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with Cypress automated testing
  • Experience working with QA teams
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Kanban)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for continuous learning and development.

Desirable experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
