About the role
Become a driving force in our mission to revolutionise building maintenance! As a Software Developer at SFG20, you'll design, develop, and enhance cutting-edge software solutions that empower our clients to create safer, more sustainable built environments. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative and agile team, working closely with Product Owners to bring exciting new features to life.
Key Responsibilities
- You will take ownership of your projects, from selecting tickets and estimating complexity to writing clean, efficient code and participating in code reviews.
- Developing features for our systems.
- Estimating the complexity of tickets and tasks.
- Delivering the required software development tasks.
- Striving for quality in your work product.
- Ensuring user stories are properly refined and groomed.
- Having influence over implementation choices.

Essential experience
- JavaScript and Node.js proficiency
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Cypress automated testing
- Experience working with QA teams
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Kanban).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for continuous learning and development.
Desirable experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Portfolio on GitHub or other similar platform.
