sfG software is currently looking for an IT Support engineer as an additional member of our team.
Some experience is required, however we are more interested in the right person for the job - so not having years of experience isn't a barrier, but a willingness to learn and a lot of enthusiasm is essential. On the other side of the coin - if you have loads of experience we are still interested in having a chat.

Salary and Benefits
sfG Software believes in investing in its employees and will support the successful applicant towards passing relevant Microsoft certifications. We also offer:
- Competitive Salary of £33,000 - £38,000 depending on experience

Job Objectives
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the IT support role for our many varied clients, from 1st line support through to managing IT projects. The ability to work within a team as well as using your own initiative is essential. Most of the time you will be office based in Inverness; however, there will be times where you will be required to go to a customer’s site, so a valid driving licence and your own transport is essential. The ability to bring experience and new ideas is always welcomed and supported.
There is a mandatory rota for out of hours cover (1 week/weekend in every 2 months) 7am - 8pm only for which there is an additional payment on top of the salary.
We believe that people skills are just as important as technical skills, so we are not looking for technical experts who want to sit in a dark room. We need people who can communicate well with our customers and who can explain technical issues in very simple terms. We need people whose values fit with our own 'friendly' values!
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Genuine interest in general IT with a thirst for knowledge.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure Administration
- Windows Server Experience
- Ability to work on your own or within a team.
