Salary: £29,629 - £33,131 per annum (actual salary), commensurate with experience

Contract: Full time (5 days a week), 42 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks), permanent

About the Role: South Farnham Educational Trust (SFET) is seeking a creative, organised and forward‐thinking Marketing & Communications Officer to help deliver our Trust‐wide Marketing and Communications Strategy. Working under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a central role in developing and strengthening a confident, distinctive brand presence across the Trust, including SFET schools, our SCITT and Teaching School Hub. Through effective use of digital, social, web and creative channels, your work will help ensure our ethos, values and reputation for excellence are clearly communicated to families, partners and the wider community. This is a varied, hands‐on role within a collaborative central team and will involve working across multiple Trust sites.

About You: We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications professional who:

  • Has practical experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Has a strong track record of creating engaging content for digital and print channels.
  • Is confident managing social media platforms and analysing performance.
  • Has experience supporting websites and working with external suppliers or agencies.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Is creative, organised and detail focused, with pride in producing high quality work.
  • Is confident using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, alongside Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and integrity at all times.
  • Experience in education, the public sector or a values driven organisation is desirable but not essential.
