A Technology Business Development Manager with a background in business support, inward investment and team management ideally gained in a professional services environment is sought by a market leading not for profit based in Birmingham.

With this organisation at the forefront of ecosystem development, the West Midlands has been recognized as the UK’s fastest growing tech sector allowing this Technology Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving economic growth through key eco-system engagement and inward investment activity aimed at attracting and supporting tech companies and global brands on their growth journey within the most exciting region in the UK.

Based in the heart of Birmingham’s tech community, this Technology Business Development Manager will be responsible for engaging, signposting and supporting tech businesses as they look to land and scale within the West Midlands. This will be done with the help of trusted partners (skills, bootcamps, providers, colleges, universities, schools, commercial landlords, recruitment partners) and will feed into the region's tech acceleration program.

This role would suit an individual with a background in B2B business development and senior level stakeholder engagement but most importantly a passion for making a real difference to the region's tech ecosystem.

This Technology Business Development Manager will have the following key skills:

  • Proven track record of managing and developing B2B relationships across the commercial or not for profit sector
