Lead Solution Architect with demonstrable experience defining and owning system, application and AI roadmaps in the third or education sector is sought on a remote basis by a well-known not for profit organisation based in the Midlands. With large scale investment in technical innovation, this Lead Solution Architect will be joining a dynamic, autonomous team delivering large scale digital upgrades that will facilitate the organisation's commitment to digitalisation over the coming years.
This role would suit an Architect with a background in application or cloud engineering and a varied background in Windows technologies who is looking to step up into a senior technical leadership position taking ownership of solution design with an international user base. In return, this Lead Solution Architect will be rewarded with market leading personal development and growth opportunities with long term commitment to flexible working.
This Lead Solution Architect should have most of the following key skills:
- Proven ability operating at a solution architect level ideally within the third or education sector – not for profit, further education, higher education, charity, social enterprise etc.
- Architectural framework experience – TOGAF, CISSP etc.
- A varied background in Microsoft technologies
- Strong Azure solution design
- Agile, scrum methodology understanding
- Extensive high level stakeholder management exposure
- Previous team leadership experience
- Experience implementing AI tooling into existing architecture would be a plus
This Lead Solution Architect will receive a £90,000 base salary with a generous private pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, excellent personal development scheme, long term remote working, death in service plus flexible working hours.
