We are a dynamic Structural Engineering practice delivering bespoke, contemporary designs for a variety of Architects and Developers across the domestic, commercial, sports and leisure sectors. We are looking for a Structural Engineer with 2-5 years’ experience to join our team. You will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion whilst developing both the design and detail information. You will also liaise directly with clients, Architects, developers and our own internal team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare concept and detail design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis
  • Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialised structural inspections
  • Collaborate with architects, designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of designing in timber / concrete / steel / etc
  • Familiarity with the Tekla Design Suite and Revit would be beneficial (although this can be taught)
