An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business leader to join a successful and ambitious event services business entering the next phase of its growth journey as their new Managing Director. Backed by an experienced private equity investor, the business has ambitious growth plans and is seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to help shape the next stage of its journey.
Working closely with the Board, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, performance and strategic direction of the business. This is a broad role, combining commercial leadership, operational excellence and people development, with a clear mandate to drive growth and build upon an already strong market position.
You will lead a talented leadership team, shape future strategy and ensure the business continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for its customers whilst maintaining a high-performance culture.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Subject matter/technical expertise within the Event Services industry
- Setting and delivering the strategic direction of the business
- Driving revenue growth, profitability and operational performance
- Leading and developing senior leadership teams
- Strengthening customer relationships and identifying new growth opportunities
