SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a fantastic temporary-to-permanent Transport Administrator role based close to Bilsthorpe. Our client is initially hiring on a temporary basis, with a strong view to transition the right person into a permanent position.

Transport Administrator required close to Bilsthorpe, Newark. Temp to Perm Full time Β£12.50 an hour.

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as a Transport Administrator. As the backbone of their transport operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of their logistics and fleet management.

As this is an immediate temporary requirement, candidates must be available to start straight away without a notice period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Management and Drivers
  • Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, management, and other stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Manage and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately process and manage driver timesheets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail, with accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a transport or logistics environment.
