This is a great role for someone who is looking to study and progress further. Salary up to £32,000 Study support Full office based – Pinxton Hours – 8:30am-5pm/8-4:30/9-5:30 Opportunity for progression Job duties: Working for a fast growing, PE backed manufacturer in Pinxton turnover > £50m, the trainee accountant will be a key role in the finance team with involvement in all financial areas of the business. The employer is committed to the development of their staff and offers early exposure to numerous accounting areas and support for study as part of this package. Specific responsibilities include: Primary responsibility for: – Recording, analysing and reconciling rebates. With the support of the FP&A Manager, developing and implementing appropriate controls over the rebates process. – Maintaining fixed asset ledger, including posting of additions, disposals and monthly depreciation. With the support of the Financial Controller, developing appropriate reporting and controls to assess the efficiency of the business\’ capital expenditure. – Management accounting and assistance in the preparation of monthly and yearly closing documents – Prepare month end reconciliations, including rebates, transport, GRNI and other accruals and prepayments. – Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are r…
