SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a temp-to-perm basis for a business based in Alfreton. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with minimal experience who is looking to start or develop a career in finance. The role offers full training, so candidates do not need to be highly experienced in finance. Instead, we are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work accurately to deadlines. While some aspects of the role can be repetitive, there is always a steady workload and the opportunity to broaden responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing service invoicing accurately and efficiently
- Working to daily and monthly deadlines
- Using internal finance systems (full training provided)
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy when handling financial data
- Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as training progresses
About You
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and finance processes
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable with routine tasks
- Open to graduates or candidates with minimal finance experience
The Role
