Technical Director with a background in leading high growth teams (DevOps, test, development) whilst creating & delivering a highly scalable technical roadmap is sought by a FinTech SaaS scale up based in the West Midlands.
With a Series A funding round now closed this Technical Director will join a highly motivated, dynamic c-suite tasked with quickly scaling the technical output ready for a sale in the next five years.
Whilst this role isnβt hands on this Technical Director will need an in-depth understanding of managing SDLC environments and bring a customer centric, start up, product focussed mindset to the role.
This role would suit a head of engineering or Tech Lead with a start-up or scale up background (ideally with FinTech experience) who is looking for a clear progression pathway to a board level Technical Director or CTO with a healthy equity offering.
In return this Technical Director can expect complete board level commitment to building out both the product and people within an autonomous, entrepreneurial environment.
This Technical Director based in the Midlands should have most of the following key skills:
β a background in leading high growth technical teams within a start up/ scale up environment through aspirational leadership
β very strong target state design experience
β Proven track record in building high performing technical teams (development, test, DevSecOps etc)
β Experience of SaaS/ PaaS service models
β Experience building cloud based products
β A delivery focused, mission driven personality who is comfortable driving innovation within an unstructured environment
β A customer first approach to technology
β Any FinTech/ financial services experience would be useful
β Comfortable in board level discussions
