SF Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic, high-growth PE-backed business that is undergoing a transformative international buy-and-build journey. With multiple acquisitions across borders, the group has built a complex structure of international legal entities, varied minority shareholding arrangements, intercompany & external loans, and significant transfer pricing considerations.
As the business now enters the critical preparation phase for a planned sale, we are seeking an experienced Interim Tax Consultant to support the finance leadership team and ensure the group is in the strongest possible position for due diligence and eventual transaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed tax review of the group’s international structure, including legal entities, shareholder arrangements, and funding mechanisms
- Advise on and document transfer pricing practices, ensuring alignment across jurisdictions
- Identify and mitigate potential tax risks and exposures in readiness for due diligence
- Support the preparation of tax-related materials for the sales process
- Collaborate closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure tax compliance and sale-readiness
- Recommend improvements to the group’s tax structure and documentation
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified tax professional (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in PE-backed or M&A-heavy environments, ideally in international groups
- Strong working knowledge of transfer pricing, corporate structuring, and cross-border tax
- Hands-on, commercial, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, change-heavy businesses preparing for exit
