SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Systems Administrator based in Newark, Nottinghamshire Area. This role is in the ideal location for candidates based in Newark, Bingham, Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving and supportive workplace! We are searching for a candidate that is truly passionate about technology and that has a genuine interest in learning about IT systems! We are happy to consider a more junior candidate looking for their first step into the IT world or a more finished article. The salary will be dependant on experience.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring that its computer systems, networks, and servers are running efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities Include:- Provide technical support for users, including troubleshooting system and network problems.
- Create, manage, and delete user accounts, permissions, and access controls in systems such as Active Directory.
- Set up and maintain user workstations, email accounts, and other necessary IT resources.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, security status, and any incidents or outages.
- Maintain detailed logs of system activity and issues.
- Monitor system performance, including server uptime, network traffic, and resource usage.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, or networking.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 (Dependant on experience)
