SF are excited to be partnering exclusively with a Manufacturing business based in Swadlincote who have a new role as an Assistant Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a growing business and where they can develop themselves further.

Potential for hybrid working after training (Couple of days at home)
25 holidays + bank holidays (This will increase with length of service)
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Mon to Thurs, 8am - 1:30pm Fri
Job duties:
- Manage Purchase Ledger system - ensuring invoices are correctly matched, coded and followed up as necessary
- Process Sales Invoices
- Credit Control
- Payments and check cashflow daily
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist with preparing the Accounts
- Assist with preparing VAT Returns
- Involved in Audits
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Must be experienced and able to use their initiative without much training
- Experience in Purchase and Sales Ledger duties, will train on the Accounts part
- Team player
- Excellent attention to detail
