SF Recruitment have partnered with a brilliant organisation near Redditch, who are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager with logistics experience, on a permanent, hybrid basis to look after some of their larger key accounts. Salary: £45,000-£50,000 plus company car Working pattern: hybrid - once a week on site near Redditch and travel to client sites when required Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, acting as their primary point of contact for contract management, and the escalation point for services. - Conduct regular business reviews for the business to monitor performance in line with KPIs set in the customer contracts. - Identify potential issues and proactively propose solutions, ensuring smooth service delivery, and minimising any disruptions to the customer's supply chain. - Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure timely deliveries, product replenishment, and the overall success of the customer's contract - Stay informed about the company's products and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers and help them optimize their operations. - Plan, coordinate, negotiate and close out contract renewals. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or solutions that will benefit the customer. - Ensure customers adhere to the terms of their service agreements and the company's quality and safety standards. - Responsible for the commercial activity of the customer within the business, to deliver successful implementation of price changes, contract deviations which incur charges, customer tenders and renewals. - Perform data analysis of customer data, forecasting and trend analysis to provide a strategic overview for both customers and Senior Management Team. - Actively identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's business within existing customer accounts. This includes uncovering opportunities for cross-selling and upselling pallet solutions or related services, as well as negotiating favourable terms for contract renewals. Drive new business opportunities to meet revenue targets and contribute to the overall commercial strategy of the business. - Promote the company's commitment to sustainability by educating customers about the environmental benefits of products and circular supply chain practices. - Identify collaborative projects between organisation and the customers to Support and contribute to the company's sustainability goals.
