Stock Controller β Wigston | Β£25,000 + Bonus | 37 hours β MonβThu 8:00β16:00 / Friday 8:00β15:30
Responsibilities
- Central point of contact for all inventory queries.
- Manage the automated replenishment system.
- Assist in the review of replenishment SKU levels in line with business needs.
- Ensure SKUs are available for production on time in full based on future requirements.
- Control perpetual inventory stock counting.
- Maintain inventory accuracy > 95%.
- Ensure daily SKU transactions within the system are carried out timely and accurately.
- Ensure that expired stock is removed and returned to QA and relevant paperwork/transfers are completed.
- Investigate stock shortages preventing the replenishment of stores.
- Maintain clear communication with QA for the release of urgent items required in production.
- Ensure all synergy items are labeled on release by QA ready for stores.
- Ensure BPRs are processed in line with business requirements.
- Provide inventory support to the Materials Management Team Leader & Materials Manager.
- Attend the weekly production meetings.
- Assist in annual stock counts.
Qualifications
- Time served within Supply Chain.
- Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control/management systems and ERP.
- Possess relevant IT skills in MS Office applications β Outlook, advanced Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of lean manufacture and continuous improvement.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment.
- Possess excellent personal organisation and business administration skills in accordance with best practice methods.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Possess a willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Proven history of performance achievements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be hands on.
- GCSE Maths & English.
