My client is a private equity backed services business based in Manchester. They are recruiting this role into their FP&A function on a 12 month fixed term contract basis initially, but this could well turn into a longer term opportunity throughout the course of the contract.
As a Senior FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for analysing and unpicking large sets of historic data and converting it into a presentable format for senior leadership and investors. You will also conduct sensitivity analysis, stress testing the budget with various scenarios, documenting assumptions, looking at any gaps in the detail and providing insight into this as well as solutions. This role will be very autonomous and you will work under your own initiative to add as much value as possible to the business.
This role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience in an FP&A function within industry with previous experience in audit being a bonus. If you have worked in a private equity backed organisation this would also be advantageous. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
The salary on offer is paying up to £85,000 with the ability to work on a hybrid basis. This role has the potential to be longer term than the initial 12 month contract and will add invaluable experience to your CV.
