Senior Business Intelligence Developer Salary: up to Β£60,000 + benefits Location: Hybrid β 3 days per week in the office We are partnering with a well-established UK organisation that is making significant investments in data, reporting and automation to enhance decision-making across the business. This role is central to that transformation journey. Rather than seeking a finished \βall-things data\β expert, the business requires a strong, hands-on BI professional who can take ownership of reporting and insight today, while growing into broader automation, governance and AI-enabled initiatives over time. Key Responsibilities Own and develop Power BI dashboards and reports used by senior stakeholders Standardise reports, metrics and definitions to ensure teams operate from a single version of the truth Collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders to translate queries into clear, actionable insights Enhance data quality and consistency through pragmatic standards and light governance Identify manual, repetitive processes and streamline them using Power Automate or similar low-code tools How the Role Will Evolve As the foundations are established, you will have the opportunity to: Increase involvement in automation and workflow optimisation Expand your skills with Python, APIs and advanced data manipulation Contribute to developing data governance, security and compliance practises Support early exploration of AI-enabled analytics and automation, with appropriate training and guidance What We Are Looking For Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling and creating stakeholder-facing dashboards Proficient SQL skills and confidence working with structured data Experience automating processes using Power Automate or equivalent tools Sound commercial judgement β knowing when to build, simplify, or decline requests A curious mindset with a willingness to learn and develop into wider data and automation areas What You Do Not Need to Have Expertise in AI Experience leading enterprise-wide data programmes Deep engineering or platform architecture knowledge This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to take full ownership of BI, earn the trust of the business, and grow their remit over time
