We’re looking for two compassionate and experienced practitioners to join our Safe Accommodation team in Leicester. One role is based in a Refuge, and the other supports clients in Dispersed Accommodation. Both positions involve providing practical and emotional support to people affected by domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, stable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support and safety planning for clients
- Manage referrals and maintain accurate, confidential case records
- Work closely with housing, health, and welfare agencies
- Carry out regular property and safety checks
- Ensure all accommodation is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming
- Keep monitoring data and reports accurate and up to date
What You’ll Bring
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals (domestic abuse or housing experience preferred)
- Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and tenancy management
- Empathy, resilience, and the ability to work independently
Hours: 17.5 per week (Refuge: Mon–Fri / Dispersed: Mon–Wed). Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must hold a valid driving licence and pass a DBS check.
