We're recruiting on behalf of a respected Cheltenham-based business for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly and supportive finance team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing organisation that offers hybrid working and a varied finance role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning and uploading invoices into the finance system
  • Accurately process purchase invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of weekly payment runs
  • Raise and issue sales ledger invoices as part of the month-end reporting process
  • Handle internal queries regarding invoice statuses and payment timelines
  • Support the year-end audit by preparing and providing relevant financial documentation
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team and provide general support as needed
  • Carry out ad hoc finance-related tasks as required
