The Procurement & Supply Chain Division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a hands-on Stock & Parts advisor on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing parts inventory and supporting the sales/customer department with everything related to operational requirements.
As a Parts and Stock control advisor, you will be responsible for the below:
- Managing company-owned and parts stock, ensuring accurate stock control, rotation, and housekeeping
- Maintaining precise stock records and following established processes and procedures
- Supplying parts to customers and supporting internal operations
- Promoting parts and associated products, supporting sales and account growth
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
- Supporting day-to-day branch operations, including hands-on involvement where required
- Providing accurate reporting on stock levels, parts usage, and customer activity
- Ensuring health & safety and fire safety procedures are followed at all times
The successful candidate will need to have experience in the below:
- Parts handling and stock control, ideally within truck, trailer, plant, or automotive sectors
- Working in a customer-facing environment
- Managing inventory systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting sales activity or parts sales
- Working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised and can prioritise a fast-paced working environment
