South Leicester (Office-based)
20 hours/week, Monday-Friday (flexible hours, office presence required daily)
£13.50-£15.00/hour (depending on experience)

We\'re seeking an experienced and organised Accounts Assistant to join our client\'s team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you\'ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our finance and stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices, match with goods received and POs
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies with procurement/warehouse teams
- Despatch sales orders, create sales invoices, and book stock in accurately
- Assist with stock reconciliations and stock takes
- Support monthly management accounts and reporting
- Post daily banking transactions and maintain accurate records
- Manage staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries
- Monitor debtors and support credit control
- Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years\' experience in a similar finance/administration role
- Proficient in SAGE (or similar) and familiar with bookkeeping principles
- Strong Excel and Office 365 skills
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes
- Construction or materials industry experience (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
