The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer is a pivotal role within our client’s design team, this role focuses on delivering high-quality components in line with project requirements and departmental KPIs., Lead the design and development of various automotive components, ensuring adherence to NMIP processes and KPIs.

Collaborate extensively across the supply chain to optimise teamwork and project efficiency.

Maintain detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery of current and future project milestones.

Challenge and refine existing processes to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Escalate issues and risks as necessary through the reporting structure.

Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
MEng or BEng in an Engineering discipline.

Experienced as a senior design engineer with 2d & 3d in depth knowledge.

Strong technical proficiency with meticulous attention to detail.

Experience with Creo and SolidWorks is required.

Ability to collaborate effectively and progressively work independently.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering results on time and to specifications.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm (flexible)
