Job Summary/Purpose
The IT Trainer is an experienced role within IT, accountable for the creation of training materials and delivery of training programmes alongside technology deployment to support with service adoption. This position involves providing in-depth knowledge of business priorities, goals and how IT can embed successfully deployed services into the organisations. The role will also run communication campaigns and initiatives to oversee the effective delivery and adoption of new and existing services within the business. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, managers and stakeholders at all levels and its suppliers. This role also requires the ability to analyse complex business problems in order to formulate and deliver appropriate training solutions whilst maintaining business satisfaction. Based from our training centre in Solihull but will include travel for training and overnight stays where required.
Training Delivery:
- Managing the delivery of training programmes, knowledge communication campaigns and initiatives to ensure training objectives are met.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience of training needs analysis in a large organisation focusing on IT.
- Extensive experience of designing training curriculum and developing training material.
- Strong interpersonal & influencing skills.
- People management/supervisory experience.
- Knowledge Management experience.
- Proven experience of managing delivery of multiple IT service training programmes to end user community.
- Experience in training IT users across business functions.
