Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner – Pricing & FP&A Focus\\n Location: West Midlands (Hybrid working, 2-3 days on site)\\n Duration: 3-6 months\\n Day Rate: £350-£400

\\n\\nWe're currently supporting a leading international business in their search for an interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their FP&A team.\\n\\nThis opportunity is a true blend of FP&A, Analytics and Commercial Finance, with a strong emphasis on pricing analytics. The successful candidate will work closely with senior commercial stakeholders to bring clarity, structure and strategic insight to their pricing strategy and commercial reporting framework.\\n\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing pricing insight, performance analysis and strategic decision-making across the region.\\n\\nKey responsibilities include:\\n\\n\\n\\nDesigning and owning the Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis: You'll deep-dive into product-level profitability by examining material costs, labour rates, bills of materials and key cost drivers\\n\\n\\n\\nInterpreting complex product attributes and identifying the commercial levers that drive margin variance\\n\\n\\n\\nReviewing and challenging the current pricing strategy across the European business – including customer discount structures, rebate logic, and price scheduling mechanisms\\n\\n\\n

  • Leading forecast/budget cycles for commercial performance across the EU region
  • \\n\\n\\nWorking cross-functionally to assess how pricing is captured, applied and reported across systems and operational processes\\n\\n\\n

  • Standardising financial processes and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency
  • \\n\\n\\nTranslating large and complex data sets into clear, actionable insights using BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / similar), ultimately creating intuitive dashboards and reporting packs for senior stakeholders\\n\\n\\n\\nDriving forecasting and budgeting processes related to sales, margin and pricing – ensuring clarity, consistency and predictability of commercial performance\\n\\n\\n\\nSupporting the broader commercial and finance teams with scenario modelling, margin bridge analysis, and strategic business partnering\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\\n\\n\\n\\nFully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)\\n\\n\\n\\nExperience in both commercial finance business partnering and FP&A roles\\n\\n\\n\\nStrong analytical background with a proven track record in pricing analytics and PVM\\n\\n\\n\\nConfident navigating product costing, BOMs, and identifying key drivers of margin\\n\\n
