We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a leading service company based in Walsall. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing sector and will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth and financial stability. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, inventory, and accruals. Provide financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Lead and manage the external audit process. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the finance team. Qualifications and Skills: Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA Significant experience within the manufacturing industry. Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems Experience in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
