We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR generalist to play a key role in enhancing the employee experience and aligning People Operations activity with organisational objectives. The successful candidate will build strong relationships across the business, provide trusted HR guidance, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Suited to candidates who are immediately available or have short notice periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to maximise organisational performance through effective people practices
- Provide expert guidance on policy, compliance, employment legislation and HR best practice
- Support leaders across performance management, probation, conduct, capability, wellbeing, onboarding and engagement
- Advise employees on benefits, policies and procedures
- Lead on benefits and reward administration (flexible benefits, bonus scheme, salary reviews)
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and person specifications
- Support absence management and recruitment activity where required
- Contribute to L&D initiatives and strategy
Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience in HR/People Operations at advisory level
- Strong knowledge of HR policy, employment law and organisational best practice
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive ER matters with discretion
- Strategic mindset with a passion for inclusive, high-performing cultures
- CIPD Chartered membership
- Full driving licence
This process will initially move quickly, with interviews planned 17th, 18th and 19th December, then final on-site interviews to take place in early January. The successful candidate will need to be able to start in January 2026.
