Head of Digital Marketing
Location: West Bromwich – On-site role
Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Overview: Join a rapidly expanding marketing team as the Head of Digital Marketing. In this role, you'll drive the strategy, growth, and operational execution of this companies online sales channels. Your mission is to develop, execute, and optimise our e-commerce strategy, ensuring a seamless, customer-focused experience that aligns with business objectives and boosts revenue. Responsibilities:
- Craft and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine our strategy.
- Enhance the digital customer experience, focusing on UX, content strategy, and personalisation.
- Manage product catalogues, optimise existing offerings, and introduce new products/categories.
- Drive organic traffic through effective SEO and content initiatives.
- Oversee the Magento2 platform, ensuring top-notch functionality, user experience, and security.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to streamline e-commerce processes (e.g., AI, personalisation tools).
- Manage WordPress-based websites.
- Lead and nurture a high-performing e-commerce team, aligning their efforts with business goals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Partner with Country Marketing Managers to execute digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, paid media).
- Work with the sales team to position our products competitively.
- Collaborate with purchasing and operations on product availability, lead times, and pricing.
- Ensure seamless post-purchase experiences and customer satisfaction with the customer service team.
- Utilise analytics tools (Google Analytics, PowerBI) to monitor and enhance e-commerce performance.
- Provide insights to improve the customer journey and boost engagement and sales.
- CRM and Email Marketing:
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams on Salesforce for data capture and re-marketing.
- Design and execute email campaigns to re-engage customers and promote our capabilities.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in e-commerce and digital marketing, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with Magento and WordPress.
- Proficiency in analytics platforms (GA4, console, Bing, merchant centers).
- Proven success in managing and scaling e-commerce operations.
- Strong data analytics skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Adobe suite.
- Experience with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud).
