SF Recruitment is currently partnered with a growing Technology business looking to hire a Financial Accountant on an initial 12-month contract. Reporting into an impressive Financial Controller, they are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced company where you can add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the year-end financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple entities.
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial statements.
- Improve financial controls and processes, identifying areas for improvement to drive efficiency.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA Qualified.
- Experience handling year-end processes, statutory reporting, and audit preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ideally PE or VC-backed environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Given the urgency of the hire, you will need to be on a notice period of 1 month or less.
