Job Description
SF Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing organisation to recruit a Part-Time Finance Assistant (20-25 hours/week) on a temp-to-perm basis in Nottingham. The role offers a salary of £26,000-£27,000 pro-rata and is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience looking to join a busy and supportive finance team. \\n \\n*Looking for someone who can start immediately \\n \\nRole Overview: \\nYou will provide key support to the Finance team, helping to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintaining strong internal controls.
Key responsibilities include: \\n- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and authorisation \\n- Preparing and managing payment runs, including urgent or international payments \\n- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies \\n- Assisting with month-end reporting, accruals, and journals \\n- Raising customer invoices and managing customer account queries \\n- Supporting payroll journals, banking transactions, and general finance administration \\n \\nCandidate Requirements: \\n- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role \\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage 50 is advantageous \\n- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ability to prioritise workload \\n- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills \\n- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team \\n- AAT Level 2/3 qualified or working towards is preferred
