Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to develop effective marketing and value-added plans.
- Leading annual commercial planning and ensuring ongoing alignment with global initiatives.
- Managing brand strategy across multiple brands and developing channel strategies across Independents, Multi-Nationals, Large Retail, NHS, Government Reimbursement, and Education.
- Measuring and reporting ROI of marketing initiatives, adapting plans to changing business and market needs.
- Creating added-value and educational programmes for customers and colleagues, aligned with compliance and budget.
- Leading product lifecycle management, pricing, launches, and portfolio strategy.
- Coaching and developing a high-performing marketing team and collaborating with Sales and Field teams to enhance customer experience.
- Developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and commercial decision-making.
- Ensuring all marketing activities comply with regulatory and data protection standards, setting the 'tone from the top' on governance and compliance.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Significant experience in marketing leadership roles with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Strong commercial and leadership experience, managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
- Digital marketing proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, resilience, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen, project management skills, and experience in leading teams and driving customer value.
- A Bachelor's degree is essential; a Master's or MBA is desirable.
- Experience in sectors serving professional customers and technical products is advantageous.
