SF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting this senior leadership role for our very well valued client. As People & Culture Lead, you will manage a small HR and L&D team and be responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's end-to-end HR and Learning & Development strategy. You will champion a high performance, inclusive, and values driven culture, ensuring people capability and leadership excellence are at the heart of business success. The ideal candidate will have 50/50 experience across both HR and L&D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the SLT to define and implement a forward looking People & Culture strategy aligned to organisational goals; Lead and develop a team to deliver a cohesive people agenda; Advise senior leaders to ensure people strategies drive performance, capability, and growth.
- Culture, Engagement & Inclusion: Champion a positive, values-led culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and innovation; Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion; Promote continuous feedback and recognition across all levels of the organisation.
- Talent, Learning & Development: Own the design and delivery of talent management and capability development frameworks; Identify critical skills and leadership gaps, implementing targeted learning solutions; Collaborate to integrate development into commercial training and performance improvement programmes; Ensure all learning and development initiatives are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with organisational goals.
- HR Operations & Employee Relations: Guide the team on policy, workforce planning, and employee relations; Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards; Drive continuous improvement in HR systems, data, and processes to increase efficiency and insight.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven leadership experience in HR & L&D at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, organisational best practices, and L&D principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
- Chartered CIPD membership.
- Full, valid driving licence with flexibility for occasional UK travel.
