Job Description
Commercial Finance Manager Derby – Hybrid Working (2 Days office & 3 days remote) 2 Year Fixed Term Contract £70,000SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a superb organisation in their search for Commercial Finance Manager to join on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract. As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for any finance and commercial queries for the ELT, SLT and their managers. You will be responsible for a team of 2 & report directly into the Head Of Commercial Finance. The ideal Commercial Finance Manager will be a qualified (ACCA/CIMA) professional with strong business partnering experience & available at short notice. Duties of the Commercial Finance Manager include:– provide valuable analysis, insights and financial modelling to influence the decision-making process and support in the delivery of strategic initiatives. – To use financial information and operational understanding to challenge performance of operational teams to drive efficiencies. – In partnership with operations, manage the commercial review process to drive performance improvements across the organisation to enhance surplus generation. – To identify areas of concern, emerging trends, and opportunities and to present this information in a logical and compelling way. – Timely interpretation and validation of the monthly results delivering meaningful commentaries on financial performance and KPIs. – Ownership of the annual budget ensuring accurate inputs, robust templates, and engagement of business partners, including ELT. – Feed into the monthly rolling forecast to ensure key variances are understood and reflected. – To provide meaningful, easy to use reports to enable greater insight and cost control. – Lead monthly, or quarterly performance review meetings with business partners to identify areas to celebrate and areas of improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a long standing, established team & report to a supportive Head of commercial Finance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is available at short notice & can commit to a 2 year contract.
