SF Executive is working with a highly successful mid market private equity house to find a value oriented Chief Financial Officer for their B2B and B2C services portfolio company in the East Midlands. Alongside an enigmatic Chief Executive Officer, you will have direct responsibility for driving the strategic direction of the business, pushing on month to month company performance and also leading significant M&A activity. At the right time there will also be an opportunity to lead an exit either into a secondary PE transaction or into a trade buyer. Current EBITDA is approaching £4m – with sensibly executed M&A and significant organic growth, EBITDA at exit would be around £20m which should throw off an exit EV in the £200m to £300m range. We are looking for PE CFOs with successful exits where value creation was predicated on M&A – as an indication, you will have bought and as importantly led the integration of at least four or five good sized bolt ons. In an idea world, you will have already led an exit with EV over £50m and also have direct experience of raising and managing the debt that is used to fund such an approach. A commensurate package and equity opportunity will exist for the successful candidate. The equity upside for the CFO will be a seven figure number, not necessarily starting with a one or even a two
