My client is a private equity backed services business based in Cheshire. This newly created position is being recruited on a permanent basis to head up one of their new divisions, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a finance leadership position with a growing subsidiary where you will be heavily involved with the strategic aspect of the growth.
As the Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing a full comprehensive accounting service for new division within the group. This will involve all month end activities including producing monthly management accounts, providing commentary on performance, analysing variances and producing profit and loss reports, completing budgeting and forecasting, as well as processing accruals, pre-payments and journals. You will also be involved with strategic aspects of growing the business, and business partnering with various key stakeholders both financial and non-financial. This role will suit a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who has a solid grounding of financial accounting as well as exposure to the commercial side of industry. Previous experience in a high volume, low margin environment would be highly advantageous to enable to to have a good eye for the detail in this type of business. The salary on offer is paying up to £55,000 dependant on experience and qualification with an attractive benefits package that includes the ability to work on a hybrid basis. This opportunity enables you to join a PE backed, rapidly growing business where you will head up the finance function and your role will grow with it.
