SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cashier Team Leader to join their clients city centre based team in Nottingham. This role is full time, permanent and is fully office based.
Key duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of all personnel within the Cashier team
- Approval and monitoring of e-days for all employee absence requests
- Approval of Ebis expenses
- Training of all new starters
- Monthly reporting of Cashiering figures
- Organising and sending out the weekly team rota and approval schedule
- Ensure all resources are managed effectively regarding cover within the team
- Daily processing of receipts through to bank reconciliations
- Investigation of all outstanding cash received and out of date cheques
- Investigation of differences on bank reconciliations
- Approval of bank reconciliations
- Confirm Alias acceptance for all payments received in different names
- Ensure team targets are met and high performance is maintained
- Ensure that all backlogs are communicated and managed with minimal disruption to service and perception
- Provide support and problem solving for the team
- Arrange monthly meetings with the team
- Carrying out the 1st approval for Natwest banking
- Completing the staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
- Ad hoc Cashiering duties
Key skills & experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills (v-lookups and Pivot Tables).
- Minimum of 2 years Supervisory Cashiering/Sales Ledger experience.
- Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
- Formal qualification: AAT or equivalent an advantage.
