Responsibilities
- Proactive and reactive maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment – both 3rd party and in-house designed.
- Carry out all disciplines of maintenance and calibration to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Follow company SOPs and produce documentation and certification which is clear, precise and accurate.
- Conduct failure analysis and put forward recommendations to alleviate future failures, enhancing reliability.
- Use health & safety software to write risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work when necessary.
- Create and update records in the company quality management system (Q-Pulse).
Qualifications
- Minimum level 3 qualification in Engineering.
- Flexible to occasional extended hours/weekend work (in addition to a normal 37 hour, 5 day shift operation).
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment (existing knowledge of GMP practices beneficial but not essential).
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical mind with acute attention to detail.
- Good problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong team player.
