Overview
SF is working exclusively with a well-established UK manufacturing business to recruit a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for their site in Burton-on-Trent. This is a key hire for the business and an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing organisation where quality genuinely matters. The business is focused on continuing to raise standards and embedding quality across the whole operation.
Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day quality, health & safety activities across the site
- Maintaining and developing systems to ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC and FSC standards
- Being fully involved in – and leading – customer and external audits
- Regular shop-floor engagement, process checks and quality inspections
- Managing customer complaints, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with current H&S and environmental legislation
- Supporting quality at customer and end-user production facilities where required
- Championing a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility, not just a function
About You
My client is looking for someone who enjoys being part of the operation! You’ll be confident engaging with production teams, comfortable challenging where needed, and capable of bringing people with you on the quality journey. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in a Quality-focused role within manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of BRC, ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Experience leading or supporting external audits
- A practical, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
- The ability to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment
What’s On Offer
