SF Recruitment have partnered with an established retail business in Tyseley, who are currently on a trajectory of growth and are looking to recruit a Graduate Marketing Assistant.
Working pattern: site based Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Transform our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn - we need your fresh perspective to engage both homeowners and trade customers
- Create compelling content that showcases our 20,000+ products
- Build online communities around industry trends, home improvement tips, and design inspiration
- Help improve our Google Reviews and online reputation (critical priority for customer confidence)
Design and implement promotional campaigns that drive footfall to our Birmingham showroom and online sales:
- Work with our experienced sales team to create promotions that clear stock and maximise margins
Content Creation & SEO
- Write engaging, search-optimised content including buyer's guides, trend articles, and product descriptions
- Support our organic traffic growth (currently our primary source) with fresh, relevant content
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to keep ahead of the game
- Support in-showroom marketing with point-of-sale materials and event coordination
Qualifications:
- Recent Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or Business degree (2:1 minimum preferred)
- Strong writing skills and natural creativity with visual content
- Familiarity with social media platforms, basic SEO principles, and content management systems
- Commercial awareness - you understand what drives sales in retail environments
- Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and react quickly in our fast-paced trading environment
