SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large manufacturing business in Leicestershire who require the support of an Assistant Financial Accountant on a temporary basis. This is a superb opportunity for an immediately available individual to work with a fantastic & supportive Finance Manager.

The ideal Assistant Financial Accountant will have experience within a similar position, strong Excel skills & can hit the ground running.

As the Assistant Financial Accountant you will:

  • Assist with month-end procedures, including posting journals and reconciling balance sheets.
  • Help maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Support the creation of capex budgets and forecasting future capex spend, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights identifying trends, variances & areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members and key stakeholders.
