SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a temp-to-perm basis for a business based in Alfreton. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with minimal experience who is looking to start or develop a career in finance. The role offers full training, so candidates do not need to be highly experienced in finance. Instead, we are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work accurately to deadlines. While some aspects of the role can be repetitive, there is always a steady workload and the opportunity to broaden responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing service invoicing accurately and efficiently
  • Working to daily and monthly deadlines
  • Using internal finance systems (full training provided)
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy when handling financial data
  • Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as training progresses

About You:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
