Overview
SF are seeking an experienced, hands-on finance professional to support & assist the Finance Director for a UK-Based AI SaaS business across due diligence, financial analysis, and data-driven reporting. This role is not a senior leadership or FD-level position. It is suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, building analysis from the ground up, and acting as a trusted right-hand support to a Finance Director running multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver due diligence-style financial analysis across revenue, costs, and operational metrics
- Build clear, structured DD reports and analysis packs based on FD briefs
- Analyse revenue and cost data in multiple ways (e.g. by customer, product, time period, cost type)
- Perform detailed wage cost and headcount analysis (monthly trends, variances, drivers)
- Extract, cleanse and model data into clear Excel outputs suitable for decision-making
- Support ad-hoc commercial and financial investigations as required
- Act as a hands-on finance βdoerβ, not a reviewer
